In January 1986 the president of the most powerful nation on Earth spoke to his people through TV, referring to the explosion of a space shuttle that for the first time in human history was to put civilian citizens in space.
He said:”I know it is hard to understand, but sometimes painful things like this happen. It’s all part of the process of exploration and discovery. It’s all part of taking a chance and expanding man’s horizons. The future doesn’t belong to the fainthearted; it belongs to the brave.We will never forget them, nor the last time we saw them, this morning, as they prepared for their journey and waved goodbye and “slipped the surly bonds of earth” to “touch the face of God.”
Now we’re in January 2011 and in the light of events we can not only observe that the Almighty face is not only in space but that it is also Him who decides who touches it.
Leit explores and discovers: he exposes the musical structures and resources of recent years.He does not declare a New Middle Age but that we are already comfortably settled in it since years: he affirms our independence of light, illuminates the dark corners where there’s no difference between music, audio and sound, he’s installed there: in the abyssal zone of the soul: where politics doesn’t matter and where the face of God is clearly seen even by those who deny.
Leit does not conform and looks for new audible horizons, that’s why any of the predictable labels easily dissolve in listening.
